Sicilian Table

Sicilian Table is a fine dining restaurant in Falmouth, Maine. They specialize in serving elevated Mediteranean cuisine and refined bar and cocktail service. They were in need of an identity that represented the Sicilian culture that inspired the menu and decor. The Medusa head can be traced back through Greek mythology as the symbol of the island nation. It is also often represented over a doorway to ward off evil spirits. The modern interpretation of the mythological Gorgon is a bold, and eye-catching homage to this tradition. The identity design was selected for a merit award at the 62nd Hatch Awards.
